Lakeshore Dining is our most requesting option for dining out. Most establishments are opened seasonally from late spring until late fall – but a few are open year round. Grab a quick bite before boarding your boat at a marina or spend the whole day at a beach cafe. No matter where you choose to drop anchor, our lakeshore dining options will have you coming back for seconds.

Farm Markets & Grocers abound with fresh produce, dairy and meats. When eight million people visit a lake each year, a few of them are bound to want to pack a picnic and here’s where to find the places who offer the best of locally grown produce and handmade specialties like chicken salad, pimento and cheese, fresh baked breads and cakes along with a full assortment of craft beers and wines from local wineries.

Local Favorites are on the “must see” list of a lot of travelers. Lake Lanier has some splendid choices for hitting the local hot spots at breakfast, lunch or dinner.
