Sunset Cove Beach Cafe and Club

Have you had a chance to visit Sunset Cove? It’s the best kept secret on the lake! The newest addition to Lake Lanier Islands Resort, Sunset Cove offers an open-air eatery with stunning views and lakeside breezes, the smell of char-grilled burgers and the heavenly taste of our nautically inspired cuisine.

Guests can enjoy live music under the warmth of the sun or the glow of our Tiki torches. Relax around our giant outdoor fire pits while sipping on beach-themed cocktails. Inside the open-air restaurant area are several flat screen TV’s displaying your favorite sporting events.

Drop anchor, pull up to one of over 60 new boat slips or glide on up to the beach. Lake Lanier residents and guests are always welcome!  When you are there, there is always something happening at Sunset Cove. GPS coordinates North 34 degrees, 10′ 26 / West 84 degrees, 01 46. Landlubbers welcome too. After entering the gates of Lake Lanier Islands follow the main road around past the clock tower and take the first left on Camellia, turn right into the Grand Hall Parking area and follow the signs to Sunset Cove.

Enjoy an eclectic mix of entertainers from rock to folk, blues to country and of course, beach music for you to dance the night away. Check our Calendar of Events for this week’s entertainment and set your coordinates for Sunset Cove where everyone agrees “it’s 5 o’clock somewhere”!

Wake Board Wednesdays

Join us at Sunset Cove for this exciting, fast paced, daredevil stunt show! Get wakeboarding tips from some very talented wake boarders. Each Wednesday, at 7pm, Memorial Day to Labor Day

Full Moon Parties

The Party Begins at Dusk! Join us for Fun – Good Food & Drinks – Specialty Drinks with Souvenir Cup – music, dancing, jugglers, fire eaters, stilt walkers, fireworks and more! Held monthly on the night of the full moon.

Sand Volleyball

Join in a game of Sand Volleyball on a stretch of our flat sandy beach. The nets are set for an invigorating but friendly game of boys versus girls, lake lovers versus landlubbers, parents versus kids or any combination you can imagine. At Sunset Cove you are always invited to get in the game!

Additionally, there are several other Special Events throughout the year (some past events include an Elvis Tribute, Castaway Poker Run, Oktoberfest, Halloween Costume Party and more)
