New Classic Horse Show @ Chicopee

This Saturday come out to the Chicopee Agricultural Center for the New Classic Horse Show and see some of the finest equestrian sportsmen in the Southeast.

Admission is FREE.
Saturday, October 23rd

The event will take place in both the covered and open air arenas. Vendors will be on hand with tack and other items horseback riding enthusiasts will enjoy.

Airsoft Range Hits the Bullseye

What is Airsoft?
Similar to Paintball, Airsoft is a team-building sport where participants use replica firearms shooting 6mm or 8mm plastic “BB” rounds and typically wear replica military gear and/or team uniforms. Besides being a great sport, Airsoft encourages honor, teamwork, and leadership skill building. Airsoft weapons, easily recognizable by their federally mandated fluorescent orange muzzles, use springs, gas, or batteries in their operation.

In celebration of the Halloween season, Hall County Parks and Leisure will host a free movie tonight, Saturday, October 16th at River Forks Park.

Come out for some blood sucking cinema under the stars as they screen “Twilight”

Admission is FREE
Popcorn and drinks will be sold, but you are also welcome to bring a picnic.
Raffle tickets for Twilight themed prizes will be sold.

Show starts at twilight – fun starts at 7pm.

Join an Adventure Cycle Group Ride – Tuesdays @ 6pm

Adventure Cycles in Flowery Branch organizes weekly cycling excursions from their store in the Publix plaza on Spout Springs Road. The rides are designed for people looking to break into group rides without the pressure and tension of a high pace. This ride is for cycling enthusiasts who want to have some fun and learn pack riding skills while at the same time getting a good workout.

Tuesday Group Road Rides: (Intermediate to Advanced)
Time: 6:00pm
Distance: 18 – 25 miles
Pace: Moderate to Hard Ride (17.0 – 19.0 mph.)

Target riders: Remember: These are group rides and not racing. Try to be on time. The rides will leave the shop at the time posted.

Note: No Rides if raining or below 40 degrees.
